About the Network:

The prospective LCA network is a group of researchers and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practitioners interested in harmonization and methodology development for prospective LCA studies.

The network started in 2022, with an initial gathering at the SETAC EU meeting in Copenhagen.

The primary purpose of the network is knowledge sharing. Current activities include organising online seminars, presentations, discussions, and workshops, sharing relevant literature and research papers, as well as news and updates about research and other events in the prospective LCA domain. The network also performs some research into prospective LCA, especially focusing on clarifying the boundaries of the discipline.

The network is non-profit and run by volunteers, including an organising team that meets bimonthly. The main activity of the organising team is planning our knowledge-sharing activities and defining the direction and purpose of the network itself. It is free to join the network as an active member or observer. If you are interested in contributing, please contact niltho@dtu.dk.
